Workshop Format
Comparative evaluation is a new subject in RE, and the workshop format
intends to encourage discussion and exploration of ideas. Discussants will be asked to present their view on the paper immediately after the author's presentation. We aim at 15-20 minutes per presentation, followed by 5 minutes for the discussants, and 10-15 minutes for further questions and plenary discussion. Session chairs will be in charge of leading the discussion and summarize it at the end of each session (summaries will be included in the proceedings). An informal committee can be formed to carry on the work after the workshop. Results will be used to set up a TREC-style competition in 2004. |
