Call for Papers

Researchers are invited to submit short papers describing their current research in Network Optimization. The aim is to present recent developments in theory, computational studies and application settings.

Possible topics are:
  • Network flows
  • Routing algorithms
  • Network design
  • Location
  • Survivability
  • Uncertainty
  • Stochastic models
  • Vehicle routing
  • Graph theory
  • Exact approaches
  • Heuristic approaches
  • Queuing theory

A CD-ROM of the proceedings including the accepted papers will be distributed to the participants.

A collection of expanded full papers will be selected for publication in a special issue of Networks, to be edited by Luis Gouveia, CIO, University of Lisbon, and Maria Grazia Scutellà, University of Pisa.

Deadline for the special issue of Networks: July 31, 2009.
