Author instructions

Full papers as well as research notes can be submitted to EuroPar'04. Accepted papers that will be presented at the conference will be included in the conference proceedings published with Springer Verlag in the LNCS series.
Full papers are regular (8 pages, LNCS style) papers. Full papers present original research results. Papers presented/submitted to other conferences or journals should not be submitted.
Research notes are a kind of short papers (4 pages, LNCS style). Research notes may present ongoing research activities, as well as preliminary research results.
Here are two zip files with the instructions and formats to be used when preparing papers with latex and word, respectively, taken from Springer official LNCS WEB site.

In order to submit a paper to EuroPar'04, authors should:

  1. Format the paper according to LNCS style (LaTeX macros as well as Microsoft Word stylesheets are available at this address under the Springer Verlag WEB page). Full papers should not exceed 8 pages, including figures, tables and references. Research notes should not exceed 4 pages, including figures, tables and references.
  2. As we only accept Postscript or PDF files for the referee process, prepare a Postscript or a PDF file (Postscript can be compressed. We accept ps.zip (WINZIP) as well as ps.gz (GZIP) formats). In case of MS Word paper, use one of the printing tools that generate PDF out of .doc files.
  3. Submit the postscript or PDF file, within the deadlines stated on this site (see important dates link), using the procedure illustrated here.
Please, take into account that the page/format limits stated above are mandatory. Submitted papers not respecting those limits will be not considered for referee.
