Call for Admission of Candidates Educated Abroad to the "Galileo Galilei" PhD School
           3 funded and 6 unfunded positions available for PhD (year 2011-2013)    

The PhD School "Galileo Galilei" is a dynamic, interdisciplinary program for doctoral studies in
the sciences at the University of Pisa. Located in one of the principal research universities in Italy,
the School has close ties with major research facilities in Pisa.


  The School reserves 3 three-year fellowships for foreign students in Applied Physics,
Physics and Mathematics.
The School reserves 6 unfunded positions for foreign students in
Applied Physics, Chemical Science,
Computer Science, Earth Science,
Mathematics, Physics (1 for each PhD programme)



The fellowships are for three years, with a stipend of 13.638,47 euro/yr (gross). In addition the
winners of the 3 funded positions will receive a net contribution towards relocation costs up to a
maximum of 1.000 euro. gs and/or national schools.
