An agreement of ``scientific cooperation'' has been established with the Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa) and the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Paris). Within this framework common research activities as well as exchanges of researchers and students are being developed.

An agreement of cooperation is established between the University of Pisa and the Universidade de La Habana (resp. G. Levi), and between the University of Pisa and the University of Cuzco (resp F. Luccio).

The Department also cooperates with Scuola Superiore di studi e Perfezionamento S. Anna (Pisa) and University of Catania.
