Representation of an NWS system inside a DIT

An application looking for a resource availability measure should find in the DIT all information needed to retrieve the desired measure.

In particular:

• the address of the nameserver that controls the subsystem providing the measure, and
• the address of the sensor that carried out the measurement (the activity, in NWS terminology).

In our opinion, the DIT should not contain the measures: LDAP is inadequate for the storage of frequently changing data.
