I am interested in parallel architectures and parallel/distribuited applications. I think the scientific research on Grid computing may have a big impact on the modern society, it allows to compute models of complex phenomenons, and to help solve pressing health and environmental problems facing the developing world.
I think the grid computing stimulates the cooperation among people, that agree to share resources and knowledge, to follow targets that are not reachable individually.
