One of the concepts we need to introduce is the site where the measurement of Communication Entities is carried out.
The concept is not useful in case of the measurement of Storage and Computing Entities: they are measured by the host where they are located.
In case of a Communication Entity, in principle it is not even clear where the Communication Entity is located: in a gateway? or in one of the connected Entities? or in a cable?
In addition, we observe that their measurement may require significant computational resources, and specialized code.
